Ingredients:
- Milk - 500ml
- Sugar - 100g
- Vanilla sugar - 1 packet
- Cornstarch - 30g
- Eggs - 2, separated into yolks and whites
- Butter - 30g
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, heat the milk with half of the sugar.
- In a separate bowl, mix the remaining sugar with the cornstarch and vanilla sugar. Add a little cold milk to make a paste.
- Slowly pour the hot milk over the sugar-cornstarch paste while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the egg yolks and butter.
- Pour the mixture into individual ramekins and let it cool. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
